1983 Porsche 944 Turbo Project

For sale is this very special 1983 Pasadena Yellow Porsche 944.

What makes it so special, you ask? Its a Turbo! Yup, your right, Porsche didn't make a 944 Turbo in 1983.

Built by the late Minh Nguyen, the founder of Autothority Pitstop in Chantilly, Virginia. Minh was a former employee of the original Autothority Inc., an independent Porsche performance and repair facility established in 1975 by Al Collins.

Some history - Nguyen first opened Porscha Pitstop in 1993, then later acquired Autothority to form Autothority Pitstop, keeping the tradition of specializing in Porsche performance alive. He was well-known within the Porsche community for his work on developing tuning chips and electronic engine management solutions. Many other local Porsche shop owners had worked with him at some point in their careers.

Minh Nguyen passed away in September 2009.

The car runs and drives but will need restoration.
